Joining the ICRC is a unique experience. Humanitarian work is very special, and often represents an intense, life-changing period in one's professional life.

Leaving the ICRC is also a unique experience. The transition to a new life outside the ICRC might be perceived as difficult.

You are not alone with your feelings, and we can help. We are many people who have left this institution - sometimes voluntarily, sometimes not so much - and discovered that there is life after the ICRC.

ICRC Alumni are at here to support, help, guide or simply accompany you in this new stage of your life. They can offer you a listening ear, ideas, advice, leads and sometimes even open doors. It's their own experience of this transition that will be most useful to you.
